That video is scary. Those kids did exactly what you're supposed to do with an attempted abduction--bite, kick, scream, fight back--so good for them. But it really bugs me that they were out alone. A 10-year-old should not be responsible for a 2-year-old IMO. Most abduction attempts happen when kids are out alone, usually walking to and from school - that's why kids are supposed to go out in groups if they're not with a parent. She was with her brother, but he's just a baby himself. There's a huge difference between a group of 3 or 4 kids and 1 girl with a toddler. Obviously this man thought a girl walking with a toddler was an easy target. They should not have been out there for this to happen in the first place. But glad she fought back and he screamed bloody murder. Kids need to be taught these abduction prevention techniques as early as possible.

I agree.  Maybe my mom was overprotective, but I wasn't even allowed to walk in the mall alone until I was 16. Needless to say, walking through a neighborhood or down the street at 10 with my little brother would definitely not have been a possibility.
