It is doable! Mine are 11 1/2 months apart and we have survived the past 10 months It will be a challenge and a lot of fun at the same time. Good luck!

It isn't always the easiest, the first few months are challenging, but it is totally worth it. My two oldest are 11 1/2 months apart (11/18/10 and 11/9/11) and I am due with #3 11/23/12. My boys are at the point now where they are starting to play really well together.
I was stressed and worried at first, but I love how well they play now, and I think about how close the will be as they grow up together!
Ours will be 13 months apart and while I'm nervous, in the end it will be fine. I kinda feel like a couple extra months would only make DD1 more aware and potentially more jealous or have a harder time dealing with the new addition.
Congrats!!! It is not impossibly hard. The very beginning can be flustering, but if your husband is even halfway helpful, you'll be fine. My boys are about to turn 1 and 2 and they are already best buddies. I am sooo happy to have two that are 13 months apart (and it only took me 6 months to be able to say that :-)
