Well, gonna have to go back to work early :(

I called the bank my car loan is through. I had signed a paper to defer my payment for last month & called to defer it this month (& next since I'm on leave). Well apparently they only let you do it once every 12 months. Which I wasn't told that in the beginning when I called earlier this year. Makes me mad. So now I have to get a hold of my boss & talk to him about coming back to work sooner. Ugh. Bunch of bull.

    That sucks.  If I were you, I'd call the bank again and see if a different person might be more willing to help.  Sometimes the person you talk to makes more of a difference than the policies KWIM?

    Ugh that sucks.  I agree with pp.  try to call again and ask someone else, can't hurt.

    Well there's only a certain person who deals with deferments. So yeah. I'm stuck. Which it was really nice to find this out 2 days before my payment is due!

    It makes sense you can't defer it for multiple months or people do that all the time.  It sucks you didn't know that sooner but it's not the banks fault.

    True. I just wish they would have told me sooner. The lady made it sound like I would be able to defer as long as I was on maternity leave.
