Periods after D&C (totally TMI)

So far, I'm on my 4th cycle post m/c and my periods are dramatically different than before.

There is a part that's better. I have NO cramps. Not before, not during. It's AMAZING. I've suffered from extreme cramps for years so it's a great change.

The thing that's a little worriesome is that now instead of a blood flow, it's mostly just clots. Basically, not much comes out on my pad but when i go to pee, there are just large clots that come out (I'm sorry TMI). I asked my OB about it and she wasn't concerned.

Do any of you have a similar experience?

    I've only had one period post d&e.  I also didn't experience any cramps.  Also, my first day was much, much heavier than before and it lasted a little longer.

    I guess our OBs know better than we do but it's not like it's something they can see so I'm paranoid.

    Cycles and periods change a lot after a pregnancy, even if the pregnancy ends in miscarriage. Mine have changed with each pregnancy. I wouldn't be concerned about the clots, I get (or used to get) them often.

    No TMI worries around here. I've had a similar experience in that my cramps aren't nearly as bad as they used to be, but my flow is much, much later and only lasts 3-4 days when it used to be heavy and more like 5-7. My OB was pretty much like, "Eh. It's fine."

    I have only had one AF post m/c as well, and mine was way different. It was super light. Only one day did I actually bleed even remotely heavy. I was actually kinda concerned when it was over in 4 or 5 days with hardly any bleeding. I was thinking...."that's it?" I've heard all these horror stories about having horrendous periods after a m/c, especially when you had a natural m/c like I did. I've been using my OPK and still no positive,....so I'm wondering if I am off too. It's confusing. Maybe we are all just experiencing "new normals"

    I had the worst cramps of my life this past AF, so no similar experiance. But my periods are also very clotty, they were when I was a teenager and were after I went off BC. I don't like to use tampons because of that. It never occured to me that it was not normal.
