Infection?

I just had a c section 11 days ago. As of today I'm feeling great and my incision is healing beautifully. The steri strips are off and it looks great. Just today however I started getting a burning type sensation in my abdomen, midway between my incision and belly button. I almost feel like its my uterus. It's not super painful, just noticeably there and warm. Any ideas if this could be an internal infection or just possibly my insides still healing?

    I'm responding since no one else has. It's been awhile for me, and I don't remember any pain like that. If you're worried about it, get it checked. I think it's better to be overly cautious with post-surgery issues.

    There is no way of knowing if it's an internal infection unless you get checked out.  I had an absccess and infection 1 wk pp and didn't know until I was in so much pain I couldn't move and was in the ER.  It had been increasing the whole week and I didn't know it until the extreme pain started.  Call your doc if you are at all concerned!
