DD used to be a great napper...a few days ago something changed. no matrer what i do she struggles to nap, but sleeps great at night. i put her down at the first sign of sleepiness or 60-90min after she got up to eat. we swaddle, rock til drowsy and put her down. same as i do at night. i cant figure out why the heck she wont sleep wll durjng the day. we hage blackout curtains and white noise. shes in her swing as we speak bc i know she wil fall asleep quickr in there and i am getting frustrated with her so i had to walk away. ive been fighting with her fof over an hour. any suggestions to help me help her nap?
Re: what am i doing wrong?
My DD fights naps too.
I actually find that I just put her down asleep, like this morning I put her in her swing, where she napped for an hour. Some days I may get 30 minutes out of her. If the world around her is more exciting, she won't nap. Maybe hold her longer, or just put her in the swing, pnp or crib awake.
How often does she nap a day? And for how long usually??
Have you read any sleep books? It's too early for you to do sleep training (and that's not my thing anyway) but I found Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child to be excellent information. I understand the science of sleep better now.

There's no such thing as "normal sleep schedule" for the first 3m or so.
Accept this, make peace with the fact that your baby is acting normally, and you'll be much happier.

If you know she is tired (she is showing signs of tiredness) then she may be OVER tired. Try putting her down a little earlier.
