No Longer Just Lurking - Intro

Hi,
I've been lurking for awhile on this page now, and I finally feel ready and confident to introduce myself. DH and I are expecting our 1st child on January 23rd ... making me just over 13 weeks pregnant. It took us about 7-8 months to get pregnant (which is not terribly long in hindsight but seemed like it took FOREVER when I kept seeing the negatives!), so when I finally saw the positive sign, I was in shock and awe! Now that I'm in the 2nd trimester (and not constantly feeling sick), I feel like I'm ready to finally announce myself and really start enjoying this pregnancy (up until now, I constantly felt like I was on pins and needles because I didn't want anything to go wrong).
I've really enjoyed reading people's posts and can't wait to be more involved on the January 2013 board

I never did an intro post I just jumped in and started posting! LOL
Glad you hear that you aren't feeling sick anymore. I am still taking Zofran every day but I hope that won't continue much longer.

Hello and congratulations! Isn't it great to be in the second trimester? I still don't feel that great in the evenings, but it is so much better than how I felt a few weeks ago! Enjoy your pregnancy!
Oh, and this is my third pregnancy (and a total surprise)! My children are 9 and 6, and due to my age, I spend more time on the "pregnant over 35" board, but I like this board a lot too!
