I am feeling stabby

I am really going to strangle the rent a cop at my DH's office.  At his workplace (he works at a R&D Pharma facility) they have several back up systems and things in place to protect mulitmillion dollar equipment and experiements.  So there is a HUGE surge protector.... when this triggers all the office lights go out and the lab goes on a generator.  Last night some surge happened- so instead of calling the emergenecy maintenance phone- which would have gone to someone else since THEY are on call- like he was told over and over.  No the idiot goes thru the admin's desk and finds a card with my DH's name and on there it says " In case of Emergency".... and it lists my cell phone number... so yes at 2 am the f-er calls my cell.... ugg I had just been able to go to sleep.  I don't sleep well at all- I am lucky to get 2 hours a night.  So last night I got no sleep at all.  This is not the first time this guy has done this- I was not the most polite to him last night.  My DH had to go in since you know they called him and reset everything so I am hoping he had a talk with him about calling the work phone and NOT my phone.

    That's ridiculous.  What a moron.  Sorry he interrupted your sleep.  That would make me feel stabby too.

    Side note, how come you aren't getting any sleep at night?  Sad

    I don't sleep well- I haven't since college.  I go thru periods were I can sleep 4-6 hours and that is HEAVENLY.  I usually can grab a nap- 20-30 mins in the afternoon.  The good thing is that when the boys were infants it was not a huge deal for me to be up with them.  I slept the best I ever had when I was pregnant.

    Now I do have more stress, my dad is concerning me (he has been acting weird, not watching his sugars, and has a history of a heart attack)- so that is why I have been taking my cell to bed with me.
