Okay, so for the last two nights in a row, C has gone to sleep at 8 PM, woken up between 4-5 AM to eat, and then gone back to sleep until around 6:45 or 7 AM. Both mornings when I start to change her diaper, I have realized it is absolutely bone dry. She then will have a wet diaper about 30 minutes after waking up, but it isn't like an enormous wet diaper--it is just regular sized.
Before this week, she used to wet so much during the night that I put plastic pants around her diaper just to keep the moisture from getting on her sheets, and now this! I am calling the pediatrician today (and DH who is also a pediatrician has looked her over and can't think of anything that he is necessarily worried about), but could this possibly be normal? Can 4 month olds just hold their bladder like that without any underlying problems?
I hate it when I think I have her figured out and then she goes and changes everything! Does anyone have any experience with this?

Aria will go through phases like this, then phases where she wakes up with a dipe soaked to the brim.
My doc said it was fine as long as she was still having normal wet dipes during the day.

No, I didn't change her at all from about 7 PM until about 7:30 AM, when she finally peed after being awake for a while.
Lancyjo--how many wet diapers did your doc. say to look for during the day if she was dry all night?

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

He just said a "normal" amount of wet diapers... which I honestly never keep track of. He said I'd notice a decrease (as in, it'd be a lot) if there was something wrong.
Also, he said as long as she was still happy/playing/acting normal/didn't have a fever/eating and pooing regularly that she was most likely just fine.
