Shooting in Colorado...

SO sad and scary... Anyone on our board from the area?

I have ALWAYS thought about a gunman entering a theater when I go see a movie - it's always kind of freaked me out thinking about it...

    Why?! Just why?!  I don't understand why someone would do something like this.

    I'm on the west side and Aurura is on the east so I'm not close now but I used to live/work fairly close.  That mall area is not the nicest (but it's suburb not inner city or anything).

    This was the first thing I heard this morning.  I don't even know what to say.  DH & I just sat in silence listening to it for 5 or so minutes, and all I could come up with was, "What the actual eff is wrong with people?"  I just don't understand it at all.

    The news coverage is crazy this morning - his car is still there & likely boobytrapped and they've evacuated the whole block (5 apartment complexes) around his apt b/c it's boobytrapped too.  I hope no one else gets hurt.

    Ive always worried about something like this happening, too.  It just seems like the perfect place for a mass shooting.  That is awful!

    I'm in NJ & this isn't even rational thinking, but MH was supposed to go to the midnight showing here last night & I am so glad he didn't! He's supposed to go tonight & now I don't want him to!

    It really is insane... the more that's coming out, the crazier it's getting. So ridiculously sad...

    I don't blame you for not wanting your H to go! I bet the movie loses big time money because people will really hesitate to go now!

    So very sad. I just don't get it. All those innocent people. My heart goes out to them and they are all in my thoughts and prayers. As for the murderer, may he rott in heII.
