"no" has invaded our household

So A has been one of the later talkers but over the last few weeks has started adding some words along with his signs. We are excited since now I am hearing "mama" but his new one this week has been "no". Just have to laugh because he enjoys hearing himself say it all.the.time. He does use it appropriately sometime but most of the time I hear sing song toddler no for every activity from talking to the dogs to eating breakfast to reading to himself. Silly boys. :)

    How cute!

The other day I was driving B somewhere and suddenly from the backseat I heard, "no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no," for no reason that I could figure out.

DS's favorite things to say no to are: when a show or commercial is on TV that he doesn't like, diaper changes & when I try to get him to eat something.

  • That's a fun one, huh!?  My LO lines up her baby dolls and says "no, no, no!" to them!  I guess she's imitating me which makes me sad but still funny at the same time!  Since when did they all become 13 yr old girls with a tude! :)

  • Ha, this is happening in our household, except with "uh oh." Everything is uh oh...he throws food, he drops something, the dog walks by...I'm trying to make him figure out that uh oh is for accidents, not when you fling something at my head.

  • No is the new word in our house, too!  He says, "No, no!" in the cutest voice.  DH and I agree that it will stop being cute in about a week or two.
I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.
