Yes, snap-in frame thing is the technical term. ;-)
We're set on the Key Fit 30, but are debating between the Caddy (frame thingee) and the full travel system.
Honestly, I'm leaning towards the frame, unless there's some amazing benefit to the travel system that I'm overlooking. Since we're FTParents that is a definite possibility.
Thoughts? Experiences?

Re: Benefit of travel system over snap-in frame thing?
I love the Chicco Key Fit car seat but really dislike the full stroller. It's bulky, heavy, and though it does fold up easily it's pretty big for a single stroller. A lot of people on this board agree. So I wouldn't recommend the whole system.
The only issue with the caddy is that it only works with the infant seat from what I'm aware of, so after your LO is out of the infant seat you can't really use it. I would opt for a less expensive caddy than the Chicco brand, and then get a lightweight stroller that you can use more long term.
Does the car seat really snap well into the Snap and Go frame? I like that it's less, but I also like that the Caddy felt so secure when we played with it in the store. And, it was super-easy to open/shut.
