For those of you who bought a doppler from fetaldoppler.net, did the gel come in your package in an unsealed container that wasn't labeled? And, if so, did you use it? Maybe I'm paranoid, but I didn't like that it wasn't sealed and labeled. Also, are there any alternatives that anyone has used that can be bought at a drugstore? Thanks!

I don't blame you for not wanting to use the unsealed gel, but regular aloe will work. That is what I was using and it worked great.

I ended up borrowing my Aunt's. Her doppler gel was empty but the bottle was not marked either. She gave me some baby oil gel to. Use but you can also use aloe gel as well. The aloe will probably be better because the baby oil gel will stain clothes if you get it on them. And it's hard to wipe up with just a towel.

I wouldn't use it either... I use lube (regular lubricant) and it works great. If someone tells you to use lotion, don't because I have heard it will damage the Doppler.

I was told you can use hair gel in a pinch.

I used it. It's ultrasound gel. But aloe gel works really well too

We've been using regular lotion for two months now with no problem. The instructions that came with my Sonoline B said to just make sure it is a water based lotion and not oil based. I use St. Ives and Aveeno.
