favorite non-baby related activities?

Hanging out with LO is awesome, but I must say I really enjoyed the time I spent last week going to Target by myself skimming People magazine and buying a book that had nothing to do with pregnancy, babies, or parenting.

What's been your most recent favorite non-baby related activity ?

    walking or running on the beach....

    having wine and appetizers

    going for a massage,...I have so many and didnt realize how much I miss quiet time alone...

    Going out to do errands by myself.  Having a cold beer on the couch with DH after both kids are asleep.  Beer

    Having a day alone with my H. It was a belated celebration for our anniversary. We went to a local place that has these beautiful gardens and spent the morning there. Then we went to the movies and out to dinner. It was nice to have time together.

    I'm so excited to go get my haircut tomorrow and I have a job interview next week that I'm really looking forward to.  I love my career and am looking forward to getting back to work.

    Definitely a long shower!

    But tonight is my first date night with dh since dd was born. I'm really looking forward to it though I'm sure I'm going to have a hard time leaving her!

    My parents are letting me and DH go to dinner and the movies tomorrow for the first time since DD was born - I couldn't be more excited :D

    I second the sleep and beer! I just wish it weren't so dang hot out so I could spend a little more time in my garden too: I miss gardening all day.

    DH and I just enjoyed a bottle of wine, a movie, and some grown up time tonight after baby was in bed. It was wonderful to be able to connect with him like that again.

    I have too much anxiety to relax and enjoy being away from the LO for long right now, but DH did manage to enjoy a whole movie at home the other night.

    An amazing! cocktail with DH at a super cute restaurant down the block from us. DH wore the moby and we took Baby, who was quiet the whole time... and it was only 80 degrees instead of 100.

    When i get time alone, i would say mani pedi and shopping. I am so excited to be able to shop in the non maternity section and not have people stare so hard becuz i am looking at non maternity clothes!
