I'm terrified of flying... Not so strange, but my dad is a pilot, my brother is a pilot and my mom was a flight attendant. I have panic attacks thinking about getting on an airplane
I have the world's worst sense of direction - lived in a building for a YEAR and would always turn the wrong way coming off the elevators. I routinely get lost in our mall that I've gone to probably once a week since I was a child. It's pathetic.
Whenever I go somewhere I am a time freak. I have certain "checkpoints" on the way to work (a 53 minute drive from home) like at the bridge it should be 7:41, the tower 7:46, the tracks at 7:51, LV road at 7:55 and finally work at 7:58. My boss always wondered how I managed to show up for work at exactly the same time for the last 5 years. I do this everywhere I drive so I know exactly when I'll be arriving somewhere. If its 480km away, I drive 120km/hr divide 480 by 2 and that's how many minutes it will take to get there. If there are obstacles, delays I will adjust my speed to compensate to make sure I arrive at exactly the right time.
I can't swim and I'm afraid of water.
Also I'm afraid of elevators. I refuse to get in the shoebox-on-strings at work. Our building is only 6 floors so I just take the stairs.
when I open a magazine, I start on the last page and work my way to the first. i actually annoy myself, but for whatever reason can't seem to break the habit.
I don't like my food touching (yes, I'm 3), unless it's supposed to touch (Thai food, etc.). Then I'm fine with it.
Me too! I can't stand when my food touches! My dh loves to poke fun and harrass me about it.
I also cannot stand having doors, shades or windows open when we go to bed. This goes for the bedroom door, closet door and the bathroom off our bedroom. I don't know what I'm going to do when ds goes into his crib. I want to keep our door open but it will drive me crazy!

Sometimes while I'm driving past a street or driveway that intersects the road I'm driving on, I tap my toes twice or my fingers twice. I don't do this for roads I turn on... This ritual carries over from my childhood, but it's the only one.

Another weird thing that I do that I never really think of...
Every time I am anticipating something to happen especially when I'm fueling up my truck is I count to 13 then to 5 three times really fast before the pump clicks off. Like 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12.13.1.2.3.4.5 three times. I have done this since I was 4 and I always thought if the thing that was going to happen, happened before I was finished three rounds of counting that my dog would die.
On both feet my second toes are longer than my big toes.
I HATEHATEHATE sponges. I refuse to touch them (rubber gloves are my friends). They gross me out, and Ive been known to put them in the dishwasher to clean them.

Ok thought of another- I am irrationally afraid of a fire. I can just barely tolerate having candles lit in the house and I go around unplugging everything that doesn't need to be plugged in at night. I lay in bed planning my routes to get everyone out of the house if a fire started in various rooms. I also will not rich things like cookie sheets and the iron for hours after they've been used.

I count to 5 when I wash my hands. I worry if I come out before 5 seconds, someone will think I didn't wash my hands and call me gross.

I count to 20 or sing the ABC song to myself (that's what I would teach my students to do).
I check my doors and windows 6 times before I go to bed to make sure they are locked.
I hate chickens. They are mean, horrible things.
Lawls. MH makes fun of me for doing this.
