For those of you who love to read as much as I do, I am about halfway through a great fiction book called the Secret Daughter that deals with IF and adoption, so I wanted to pass it on in case you hadn't heard of it. I know some people don't like reading about books (fiction or otherwise) about IF, adoption, etc because some might already feel overwhelmed day-to-day by it. But if you do like to read fiction books on the topic, this one is really great so far. Such a touching story and I can't put it down.
It's about a couple living in Northern California, both of them are doctors, and struggled with infertility. They pursue adoption in India, where the husband is originally from. It's neat to read about the couple here in the US who are adopying and also learn about the Indian culture at the same time. I really like how the author writes and I can't wait to keep reading it each night.
Again, hope it's ok that I posted here. I just wanted to share.
