DH surgery update

DH came through his surgery fine although he's in a lot of pain. He does have the more aggressive form of testicular cancer but his CT scan doesn't show any sign of cancer elsewhere, which is huge.

Depending on whether his blood counts go down (fingers crossed) and/or go down to zero (super fingers crossed) then we'll know whether he'll need chemo or not.

That's excellent that the CT scan doesn't show signs of cancer elsewhere.

Fingers crossed that his blood counts go down. And soothing recovery vibes sent out to him.

They removed the tumor. If his blood counts go down to 0 then that is a pretty good indicator that they got it all. If not, then we'll definitely be talking chemo, and I think it's still a possibility either way. But there are no visible signs of cancer elsewhere, which is a huge step!

I am so sorry you guys are going through this. That is great that there are no signs of the cancer in other areas. I hope they got it all and he doesn't need cancer. I am keeping your family in my thoughts.

Oh, wow. I'm glad they caught it when they did & so glad the CT shows no more cancer elsewhere. Tons of T&P for you guys while you wait on the results.
