I totally ate the concrete this afternoon at work. I tripped on these weird small steps and landed hard on my hands and right knee. My knee hurt and throbbed at the time, but the pain has gotten progressively worse since then. I know pregnancy can loosen up your ligaments and tendons, so do you think I could have hurt my knee worse because I'm pregnant?
Re: Dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway
It sounds entirely possible that your pregnancy could be the reason it's throbbing more than it might have when you weren't pregnant!
GL & hope it feels better soon.

"Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian." --Dennis Wholey
It got so bad last night that I couldn't move my knee or put any weight on my leg. H worked late, so DS ended up staying up way past his bedtime because I couldn't put him to bed.
I slept with my knee elevated last night and with an ice pack on it, and it helped tremendously! I think it's exactly what you said, a bad bruise. If I treat my knee right this weekend, then I should be up and walking around next week without any problems.
