1st Trimester

No cramping?

I am 6w 4d and I haven't had any cramping at all in at least a week.  Week 6 has brought me the gift of nausea, but I actually feel a lot less tired this week.  I've been reading (too much maybe!) about everyone having light cramps here and there and how that is normal, etc.  But what about no cramps at all for the past several days?  I don't go to my first prenatal apt. until Aug. 10, so I may just be psyching myself out and am waiting for signs everyday that this is "real".  Am I crazy? :)

  • yes.

fo reals, I think that symptoms can come and go at any time, and can be different all the time too - try to relax and not worry!
I had no cramps at all, until back labor set in. back labor is the debil.

I stop feeling light cramping around my 6th week - up until then it was just about the only symptom I felt. Weeks 7 and 8 brought nausea...which has gotten less worse over the past few days. It still doesn't feel real for me- my first ultra sound is August 10th as well...hopefully then I will feel like its sinking in!

  • I had light cramping (less than menstrual cramps closer to pulled muscle feeling) until about 7 weeks then it tapered off...And no you're not crazy, I'm starting week 12 and its all still surreal (even with a bump and seeing the baby move on the u/s).  If you are super worried, you can always see if your doc will see you sooner!
  • After the first 4 weeks I really haven't had too much cramping.  Most of my symptons, with the exception of nausea, come and go now.

  • I am 4 wks exactly today but I have yet to experience cramping.  I haven't even experienced spotting yet and I'm starting to freak out myself about that.  I do not think that anything is wrong with your not experiencing any cramps.  I know that alot of women have stated that the symptoms vary.  Everything is going to be alright!  Even though August 10th seems like FOREVER to arrive, it'll be here before you know it!!

    Keep smiling!!!

  • Here's the thing... you worry about not cramping, I'm worried that I am cramping.  I'm quickly learning that there's always something to worry about during pregnancy.
