Natural Birth

books!

So I read hypnobirthing and another book during my last pregnancy.  (I'll have to dig them out to see which it was)  I was wondering if you ladies could suggest any other good reads on natural childbirth for this time around.  Thanks & hello again :D

Re: books!

  • Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth, Husband Coached Childbirth, Birthing from Within all have some good things in them that you could use.

  • I've read about 30 or 40 books on natural childbirth.  Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, by Ina May Gaskin is by FAR the best.
    Reichley Mama
  • Pushed, Ina May Gaskins Guide to Natural Childbirth, A Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth, and the next read on my list is spiritual midwifery!

  • Spiritual Midwifery is very good.  It's an older, more 'hippie' version of the later Ina May's Guide.
    Reichley Mama
  • Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth!  That was the other one!!  Thanks for all the input.  I'll have to pick up a couple of these suggestions
