So I love being a part of the IF blog scene, but I have one complaint. All of my IF blogs are now PG blogs. I mean, I get that the point of IF treatments is PG, but my entire freaking reading list is FULL of belly shots and ultrasound pics. It's worse than facebook.

One of my favorite blogs actually changed to a new blog for the PG part and the last post on their IF blog was a link to the PG blog. I loved this because then I got to choose when I felt comfortable following the new blog. This is absolutely what I plan to do if I ever actually get KU.

So am I just being too sensitive?

I don't think you are being sensitive. When I was going through all my IVFs, three or four of my favorite fashion blogs turned into pregnancy blogs. It happened all at the same time and I had to stop reading them. Even now that I am KU I don't get it. If you go to a blog to read about fashion or decorating or IF struggles, why would you want to start reading about someone's pregnancy or parenting. I think it's a little self centered to think that your readers care enough to read about it everyday.

Thanks ladies, that makes me feel a bit better. I am continuously unsubscribing from blogs, but really don't want to be. I would love to follow them later, but I can't handle that many bellys and babies in my reading list!

I keep up with all of my blogs through Google Reader. I have IF & PG categories so I can move them as needed and read when I want/can.

When our baby comes, I'm going to keep my blog just because it's easier IMO. Okay --- I'll keep it because I'm lazy.

Do you know if there is a way to categorize in blogger? That would be so helpful!

Not that I know of in Blogger itself, but you can using RSS readers (like Google Reader).

I find it frustrating because we have been trying longer then a lot of the people's blogs I read. I am happy for those that succeed after IF but its also a big reminder that here we are 4 years into ttc and we are still not pg. (((Hugs)))

This. I will probably keep my same blog if we ever get a BFP because I guess I feel like it's about the whole journey to a baby, but I certainly wouldn't use it to blog about parenting or any of that other stuff people do...

I totally understand how you feel, but sorting the blogs in a reader sounds like a great idea!
