I sense a lot of hostility in posts lately. I know I am probably partially to blame because I love a good debate and banter, but I'm starting to see some hits below the belt. I thought maybe this thread would lighten the mood!! So compliment a fellow Bumpie - GO!!

Ok, me first.

Smilelari - I like your no-nonsense posting. You alway seem to make informed decisions but you don't push it on others. Even though I don't always agree with you, I love that I can debate topics with you because you always have an intelligent response.

Mama&Baby - I think you handle yourself well "under pressure." I know I was calling you out on your dresser but you handled yourself calmly and respectfully. I like that you don't fight back dirty like some people would, and I'm sorry if my comments hurt your feelings. After you explained further, I could see that you have your child's best interest at heart.

Aw thanks! I definitely don't try to offend but I know some people can be offended by my tone at times. It's just who I am - I'm sarcastic and snarky IRL too. But I don't mean to hurt feelings.

Here is one for all you ladies who have been with me from the beginning. 1st trimester to birth and late night feedings. First illness, lactation advise and the list can go on and on. I can honestly say y'all have been a big help. Thanks for all the help and entertainment.

Thanks to Smilelari! I posted about Sleep Regression and she suggested separation anxiety and to try bed sharing. Since I've done bed sharing I've been getting full nights of sleep and so has DD. So thanks Smilelari for saving my sanity!

Ya know, it's amazing how you can really feel connected to people over the internet once you've bonded with them through a pregnancy and having an newborn

Great idea! All the lovely ladies on here who are taking care of their sweet November babies AND pregnant! You amaze me, and I can't wait to hear what everyone is having and to see those bellies grow!

I want to say thanks to all those who came out and contributed to the UO. It certainly became alive in here!

Smilelari, thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge. We don't see eye to eye on every subject, but I can respect how much you have educated yourself with your "mommy" role in life. That, and you get the most brownie points for having a surprise home birth. I don't know how you did it by yourself, but you take the cake on that one!

Honestly, thanks to everyone who shares any knowledge and experience. I think we all benefit from it.
