Reintroducing myself...And a question

I feel like I've done this so many times, but maybe this will be the last :) I live in Harford county with my DH and 8 month old son, James. I hope to start posting more! I'm a stay at home mom, but I also work (very) part time from home. I've been given great advice from you ladies before, so I appreciate that! So, what fun things do you do with your babies? We go to story time at the library, the park, and we have a baby pool that we use a few times a week. I feel like I could be doing more, but I'm at a loss! We do have a membership at the zoo, but haven't gone the last few weeks since it's been unbearably hot!

Re: Reintroducing myself...And a question

  • Welcome back.

Normally on the weekend is when I get to things with the kids (working full time does blow). Because it's been so hot, we haven't done much outside this summer. But we have checked out recently the MD Science Center in Baltimore, B&O Railroad museum, I also like to take DD to the duck pond in Bel Air (right off of Rt 22) although if you go, watch out for all the goose crap. We also have gone to Broom's Bloom Diary Farm to pick up ice cream. On Friday nights they have music (they may have music on other nights, but I've only been on Friday's). Obviously there is Annie's playground. Have you checked out storyville at the Rosedale library? It's free and I think your LO would enjoy it.

  • Good ideas, thanks! I'll have to check out the duck pond (I love ducks) and storyville. He enjoys story time at the library we frequent, so I'm sure he'll enjoy that too. I would go to the Fallston story time, but you have to sign up before hand, and his naps just aren't predictable at the moment. I never know how any day will go until the day of.
