and results are normal for both DH and I which is great news. That relief was quickly trumped by the RE's concerns about my tubes now that I have had an ectopic. She thinks we're okay to start ttc after my next cycle if my next beta is negative but she was going on and on about damage in my tubes. She was saying that either there is damage and that caused the tubal or the tubal occurred and now there is damage which puts me at a higher risk. I knew I was at a higher risk having had one but the thought never occured to me there was a preexisting condition in my tubes. I'll get an HSG scheduled after my next AF but she said that might not even be able to show if there is damage. I am just feeling really defeated today. I didn't want the genetics to be abnormal, but i just need there to be a reason for 5 losses in a row.

    I am sorry you are feeling down about what the RE said, but that's great news that all results from the genetics test are normal.  I know what you mean about wanting to know the reason behind the losses though.  It's so tough.  Hoping the HSG shows nothing wrong and that that is the case for you!  ((Hugs))

    So sorry for the damper on your positive genetics news!  I hope they get it figured out for you. I know the unanswered questions are hard to deal with.

    Yay for good genetics!! Glad you're getting a HSG done, I hope it provides some clarity.

    I thought you needed to wait 3 month after taking MTX? Maybe I'm imagining that?

    It seems like it can never just be good news and no bad news or so-so news. I understand your frustration with wanting things to be normal, but also needing some kind of reason, some sort of answer. I'm sorry, hon. ((hugs))

    Thats what I read too but she said a woman who has to abstain from folic acid for 6 weeks because of levels should wait longer than someone who had to abstain for 3 if that makes sense. My MFM had said the same thing about after one cycle and my OB said wait 3 so all 3 members of my "team" have different opinions. The point is mute if my level is still trickling down next week so I didnt even really broach the topic anymore. I doubt I'd mentally be ready to try anytime soon regardless of my doc giving me the OK.

    I cannot imagine how frustrated you are.  I hope you are able to get answers soon.  I understand wanting something to be wrong so at least you have a reason things went wrong but not wanting something wrong so hopefully next time will be different.  (((HUGS)))

    Thats great news your results came back good but I can understand your frustration with not getting any answers.  I'm really sorry you are dealing with this.  I hope your HSG goes well.

    I'm so sorry you still don't have any answers, but it's great news that your genetics are normal! Hoping some answers are right around the corner for you.
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    Glad the genetics all came back normal!  I hope that you get the best possible results from the HSG and that you get your rainbow baby soon.  I can imagine how you're feeling, having had 5 losses myself.  I totally understand wanting to find teh cause.  I hope you do, and that it's treatable.
    PAIF/SAIF, PGAL/PAL welcome.
    TTC since March 2010 ~ Dx Unexplained IF September 2011
    2011: IUI + Clomid = CP#1
    2012: 3 more IUIs + Clomid = 3 more CPs. One on-our-own pg, also CP
    2013: BTB IUI + Lupron/Follistim/Prometrium/PIO = CP #6
    IF testing, RPL testing, Autoimmune testing = all normal
    So lost.

    Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
    Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!

    Cycle #1(08/2012): Clomid 50 mg CD3-7, Ovidrel CD13 + Progesterone = It worked!
