almost time...not so excited!?!

My big box o' goods arrived yesterday while I was at work...you think DH would have opened it and put the necessary items in the fridge seeing the HUGE "open immediately needs refrigeration" sticker on the box....Nope!  Thankfully it was still cold when I got home at 10.  Anyway, my new protocol has me excited and worried at the same time.  This was the protocol I wanted to do and my new RE thinks this is it, so that makes me hopeful/excited BUT on the other side of my fence I worry because what if this "solution to my IF" also fails??  After my first IVF, I've learned to not get my hopes up, without trying to be Negative Nelly.  I guess I am nervous Tongue Tied

To top off all my new anxiety, I am sick....WHO gets sick on the Hottest days of the year?!?  I never get sick!  I blame my child patient last week who was coughing in my face...ugh.

First u/s 1/30/13: Shows 1 healthy heartbeat!!

Was he was right? I wasted 4 IVF's and the doctors were not getting the catheter in?!?

    Hey Bethany, I know the anxiety of wow - something new that might work and then the nervousness of wow - it might not work. I tried to relay this exact sentiment to DH last week and all he could say is he feels positive.  Sorry you are sick - that is never any fun - hope you feel better soon.

    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
    1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
    Prayers for our take home babies!
    2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.

    I think it's normal to get anxious when moving forward with another cycle. I'm so sorry you are sick. The last time I was sick, im pretty sure I got it from a one of my adult patients. It was right when I started stims for ivf #3. I hope you are feeling better soon. I wish you all the luck in the worlds and lots of ppv's!

    Anxiety is definitely part of the process... I think a bottle of it comes with the meds shipment :)

    Oh, how I hope this new protocol is the answer for you. It's so difficult to not feel loads of anxiety going through all of this, but hopefully all of that is in vain.

    FX that this new protocol is the right combo for you!  And, I can definitely relate to your mixed emotions...I'm feeling them now as I cycle again, trying to maintain a healthy balance of optimism and emotional detachment.  Ugh!  Best of luck to you! (and hoping that you're feeling better very soon!)
