It seems to be part of a lot of people's bedtime routine. Where did you learn about it. I would rather be able to watch something than read it because a) I am lazy and b) I am a visual learner. Any links, advice, recs would be greatly appreciated. My DH is gonna be jealous that baby gets a massage every night!
Re: Baby massage
I just put some info together for my moms group this week ...
Book: Infant Massage - Revised Edition: A Handbook for Loving Parents by Vimala Schneider Mcclure
Organization/ Education/ Resources/ Find a class: www.infantmassageusa.orgVideos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7D2990F1A6881F08
--I've included two series of videos, one that shows parents learning with real babies, the other where a massage therapist is demonstrating on a doll. The one with real babies is more fun to watch but the one with the doll is probably a bit more thorough. There is a also a video of traditional Indian infant massage, on which Vimala Mcclure heavily bases her work. The first 1:45 is mostly a scalp massage but after that it gets more interesting.
