I'm guessing that means they are at least concerned.
If they have any concerns at all about whether or not it is testicular cancer, the next step would be removal, anyway, so I'm just kind of assuming that's where we're headed next. I don't think they can be sure whether it's cancer or not until they do that and biopsy it.
Fingers crossed for us, please!
I'll update later tonight.
UPDATE:
98% likely to be cancerous. Surgery scheduled for Thursday. It will take about 3 weeks after that before we know what kind of treatment plan comes next. Sigh....
Re: Updated: DH cancer post - appointment was 2 hours ago, still not home
Oh I just saw your update. I'm so sorry you and DH have to deal with this. Big internet hugs sent out to you two!
Please keep us updated as you find out more so we can send as much internet support out your way as we can.

My little man at 0-1-2
I do know one person who has had testicular cancer. He had one testicle removed and did a round of chemo. He has now been cancer free for about 6 years and lives like nothing in his life has changed. I will hope like heck that YH has a good result also.
Thanks again, everyone. FWIW DH has a strong feeling that he has the more aggressive type- based on the size of the tumor and the fact that he feels pretty strongly that it hasn't been there for long, meaning that it grew fast. If he's right, which I hope he isn't, then the treatment would be chemo, rather than radiation. He has an acquaintance who is going through this right now and DH is pretty freaked out about how debilitating it has been for this guy. I had been pretty peppy until he admitted his fears of being knocked down by aggressive chemo, and now I'm trying to keep from stressing too much.
Fingers crossed. Life just isn't ever simple, is it?
