  Nope.. my DH and I BD'd the night before actually. 

   

  The form they gave me when I left said no BD for 2 days after?  

  Me; 28 Hubby: 29 - TTC since 5/11 - PCOS Cycle #18-21 Clomid & Trigger & TI = BFN 

  Cycle #22 Gonal-F & Trigger & IUI = BFFP!! EDD 10/4/13 Beta#1 50.5, Beta#2 212, Beta#3 452, First HB 133!!!Logan William born 10/7

  TTC #1 Since 4/2010, Cycle 30
  Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant
  Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
  4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
  7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
  IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
  FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
  4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
  FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
  FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354

  This, you could even POAS that am just to make sure But really, you will be fine!

  However, make sure you take some pain meds about an hr before. It really makes all the difference. I could not drive after mine! Just remember this is necessary and keep thinking about the end result. That sorta helped me with the anxiety! I really would not worry about the BD. You can also call your doc too she might be able to put you more at ease.

  Nope, wasn't told no sex before and after HSG. In fact, we had sex the night before my sonoHSG.

  I was told no sex before HSG.  Reason being they would not do the HSG if there was a chance of pregnancy.  I was also required to do blood work to ensure I wasn't pregnant.  

  2 year TTC journey with successful IVF in Nov 2012- B/G Twins!

  Baby Boy diagnosed with omphalocele and diaphragmatic hernia

  Born at 32 weeks due to PROM.  Emergency c-section due to prolapsed cord.

  Said Goodbye to our sweet Bennett after 5 short hours.

  I was told no BD for two days before and after HSG. I think you'll be okay.

  Me: 32, DH: 34.
  Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
  2 IUIs = BFN.
  1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
  FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)
  
  14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.

  I was never told not to BD at all.  I was just warned that I might spot for a few days after.

  Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
  8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 

  ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
  IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
  ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
  3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  

  DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow

  7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle

  (plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
  ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)

  I'm late to the party, but my HSG was scheduled on the fly the day of my RE appt because I just so happened to be in the right time frame.  The RE looked at my chart and confirmed that I couldn't possibly be pregnant, then scheduled it for the day.  They didn't say anything about no BD afterwards but we didn't for a few days anyways because I was a little worried about infection and still spotting and cramping.

  I was told no sex from CD1 until my HSG and then no sex for 3 days after. Even though I was told no sex prior, I was still made to go into the lab and have a negative pregancy test no more than 24 hours before my HSG.

  Me: 25
  Dx PCOS (June 2006, re-confirmed March 2012), Anemia (May 2010-Still fighting to correct it), Fibromyalgia (May 2011)
  Initial b/w - normal
  HSG (March 2012) revealed right tube open and looking great. Left tube deformed with hydrosalpinx.
  Lap (April 2012) Removal of left fallopian tube. Right tube open and viable, but "rather enlarged." NO evidence of endometriosis...Uterus looks beautiful and "very capable" of carrying a pregnancy!
  October 2012 - Clomid 50mg + trigger + IUI = BFN
  With all factors taken into account, RE is recommending IVF. Planning on moving forward with treatment as a single woman using DS by Summer 2013.
