I am happy to announce that out of the 10 eggs retrieved, we have 5 embies growing (with the help of ICSI of course!). Transfer will be on Friday - just praying we have some good looking one's on Friday.
My dr did call me directly (very unusual since the nurses unusually do all the calling). He wanted me to be in a good state of mind for the transfer and to think only positive thoughts - I said to him - well if that's the case, you had better have some good @ss drugs waiting for me ... lol Actually, he wants me to be calm enough to go through with the transfer because my embies are never good enough to freeze. I know he meant well by calling but does he realize he just called my future kids crappy? ... lol Just had to laugh about it.
And - he will be there to do my transfer! And DH went out today and got me a shirt that says "I am special" - I hope he realizes that I will wear that shirt on Friday!!

Depending on the quality - if they look "ok" then 2. I am AMA and even though my clinic keeps putting out articles about how transferring one or two shows no difference in success rates - they really don't believe it themselves. Two drs there said they would transfer 3 - even though I reminded them about the triplets. They just feel all 3 wouldn't take (that is what they said last time too). I am sure it will be 1 maybe 2 - DH and I will just have to put our foot down.
