What are your LO's doing when they are on "Tummy Time"?
I feel like my DD is behind... She sort of hangs out eating the mat. I can get her to hold her head up a bit but its only for a few seconds. She will shoot up if she is on me during tummy time. I feel like she does so much better that way. I am still diligent about putting her on the ground but I feel like she isn't making progress.
Re: Tummy Time
We've been having the same problem with Adalyn. Today the EI showed me to roll up a thickish blanket and put it under her armpits. Not so big that her she can't push off the ground, but not so thin where she is just laying flat. Then, she held a toy that Adalyn likes to look at and would get her to try to lift her head. It really seemed to help a lot.

DD is the same way -- "eating the mat" is a good description! I brought it up with her pedi at our 2 month check up, and the pedi put her on her tummy to see what she was doing. She praised DD for moving her little legs around a lot, trying to get some traction.
She said that since DD is holding her head up pretty well when being held upright, she wasn't concerned that she didn't pull her head up in tummy time. Some babies aren't interested in that, but get more into pushing with their legs.
I will have to remember the rolling blanket technique.
DS will pick his head up a couple times then he just sucks on the matt. However he does kick his legs alot and scoot.
If I hold him over my shoulder he picks his head up no problems. I still feel like he is behind though.
