Rant: Why are people dumb??

so my friend texts me and says her fingers hurt, she smashed them, and her uterus hurts. my first thought is oh, really? yes please tell me how your non-m/c related uterus pains feel....... but i decide to be nice and i ask her about it. she tells me its a weird cramping/pulling feeling......... this begins to sound familiar...... i ask her when her period is due.... next friday, like more than a week....... more familiar..... when was the last time you had sex, and did you use a condom? about a week ago and no..... i started my birth control a few days be fore then so i figured it was ok...... why wasn't it? she has also had a m/c, less than a year ago, she lives with her grandparents, just started dating the potential-baby-daddy, and has a handful of early pregnancy symptoms........ and she chooses me to discuss this with. her reasoning, because i have so much experience with early pregnancy...... that's right, not pregnancy "early pregnancy"...... excuse me while i go smash my phone and cry over a pint of ben and jerry's... really!

    Wow- you are a lot more patient that I would have been. I may have said "I really want to help you, but I cannot be here for you right now in this capacity."

    i think you should go poke her in the eye! and i tend to be much more patient because i feel better helping people than by being useless, but honestly, she knows it happened, i texted her when my symptoms disappeared and told er i thought i would miscarry, and i talked to her again and told her it had happened, she knows how upset i am about this, especially with the evil boss at work making comments but no, she had to bring it up, and not delicately, or with warning. she didn't even think of it as a possibility until i told her, i mean really........ like apologize for bringing this up and change topics, no, she is continuing on about how Troy was so excited the last time she thought she was pregnant, a month and a half ago, after she slept with him for the first time.... and it was unprotected, oh and she wasn't dating him, it was their first date.......... i really really hate stupid people.........

    Wow. And this is your friend? Besides being completely oblivious to your feelings, what is she doing not using protection with this guy?! If you are serious about smashing your phone you should do it on her head and *hopefully* knock a little sense into her.

    ok so i just re-read all of this and im really sorry if it brings the board down. and mommymatter, it wasn't the only guy that week she had met online and had unprotected sex with, she was(her words not mine) "unconciously trying to get pregnant, because you and i are best friends(i continue to stress HER WORDS) and i just want to be a mommy with you" this also happens to be the girl that stole my DH from me, DH and i met online and she and i were roomates at the time, then once he realized how she was essentially (HIS WORDS) an ugly less funny version of me, i still laugh at that, he dumped her and came back to me. so i guess she's more of a Frenemy, so maybe she just wants to be me??? i dunno.... just had to share the complex drama, its so much fun! lol............

    Oh why are there girls like that?! Doesn't it make you sick that you are making a conscience  decision to bring a baby into  this world  and she  justs wants  to get KU'd by any guy so you guys can do it together? Tell her to just take you to a movie if she wants to do something as friends!

    yeah, she lives kinda far away, ok actually i moved kinda far away, but we are moving closer soon and all she talks about is all the stuff we are gonna do together, i'm like seriously? no...... no...... not gonna happen....
