How do you clean your mesh feeder?

Mine is gross and we've only used it a handful of times.  So far I've just poured dish soap on it and washed it between my hands, but it's still turning a narly shade of brown.

Re: How do you clean your mesh feeder?

  • When I was looking them up I read reviews that said Oxyclean worked really well, then cleaning them w/ warm water & soap to get rid of the Oxyclean (or running thru the dishwasher?).

  • I just give it a good hand washing turning the net inside and out then put it in a basket and run through the dishwasher.

  • Dishwasher. The packaging said its normal for it to stain colors but that doesn't mean it's not clean. I also bought a pack of extra mesh to change it out every once on awhile.
