I don't talk in my sleep often but SO does all the time. Most recently was this past weekend. He rolled over, put his arm up around me & said, "You're a hot commodity!" Then rolled back over & continued sleeping. He has no recollection of this whatsoever.
What's something funny you or DH/SO has said in their sleep?
Re: Talking in your sleep
My DH sleep walks and talks... he has regular conversations... and then he has off the wall dreams where he sees snakes, panthers, and then has bikes falling on him. During one such dream he was trying to scare the animal away by screaming and shaking our footboard.... the footboard broke. He also thinks there are ghosts in our room if there are any hangers hanging off of our canopy bed.
I talk nonsense when I'm half-asleep & sometimes I even remember it. Years ago, in my early 20s when I was dating my now ex-husband, I was spending the night at the frat house he was living in for the summer. It was a week night & I had to work early the next morning. I had stayed up way too late & I was paranoid that I wasn't going to wake up on time. Ex was still up partying with buddies but randomly came in the bedroom to get something. While half asleep I asked him what time it was. He told me the time but I said, "NO! Not that time. The actual time." He said, "What are you talking about? It's actually 1:45am (or whatever time it was)." I replied, "No, you have to go downstairs & get a generic can of pop. The color of the can will tell you the actual time." He tried to tell me I was talking crazy & that I must still be asleep. That got me even more frustrated & told him I knew what I was talking about, that he had to go get a can of pop & tell me what color it was. This went back & forth until I woke up enough to realize how insane I was being.
DH did once, but I can't remember what he said.
Abigail does very often.
This morning, as DH was kissing her bye before going to work, She said, "Daddy. Daddy. Daddy."
Sometimes she meows in her sleep. It's really adorable.
