I see these all the time and I swear I bookmarked one awhile ago, but I can't find it. So I apologize for another "please tell me what to buy post"
Please recommend your double stroller. I'm getting overwhelmed by all the options. I think we're leaning towards a sit & stand type one, since DS is 2 1/2 and doesn't sit in the stroller half the time anyway.
But I've seen some that convert to sit & stand but also have a seat. Worth it? I'd like to stay under the $300 range - but want to understand why some are more awesome than other.
TIA!!

I don't have this one and haven't used it, but this is what we are planning on getting. It has great reviews on Amazon and the BRU website.
I'm getting a universal attachment for our single stroller to make it more of a sit and stand. It can fit in the basket when not in use and I plan to use it more in parking lots when I need to keep DS contained. I love our single and still want to use it, so it seems like a great option for us.

I also bought the Maclaren Twin Techno side by side for day trips and traveling. I wanted to get something that gave both kids a good view and both could lie flat for a nap. DS loves the double so far but we have only pushed it around the house.
Sit & Stand would never have worked for us. We borrowed one on vacation and DS wouldn't stay put for anything - I would've been better off just bringing a single and letting him walk.
I'm all for the side by side. DS is almost 4 and will still sit in there when I need him to (airports, long walks, etc.) I LOVE my Bumbleride Indie Twin but it's definitely out of that $300 range. If you can find one on CL (I've seen them on there!) GET IT. It folds super easily, has a huge storage basket, is comfy for a baby and a toddler together, and does take a lot of car seats using the adapter bar if you choose to go that route. I've fit it through any door I've tried, pretty much the only place I don't take it is small boutiques.
Whatever you get, get air filled tires. Pushing two kids on cheap wheels is a joke.

Thanks! This is totally one of my concerns! DS barely likes to sit in the stroller as it is, but we go to the zoo a lot and I'm thinking that I'm fooling myself if I think he's going to stay on the stroller when I want him to. And it's going to be hard to chase him when I take the two of them by myself.

I got a sweet deal on a used Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand LX ($35!) and I love it so far. DS has ridden in both seats and does well so far. My infant car seat will snap in without any contraptions added on. It glides quite smoothly and has ample storage.
I did think about buying one of the Graco Sit 'n Stands that has the extra seat you can snap on and off. I think it is really cool, but in the end it was around $200 and I've never seen one used around here. $35 was more what I wanted to spend. Also? The Graco is much more bulky folded up (It is huge!) and I don't have lots of storage space in my car. Not even sure it would have fit. The BT that I bought isn't that much more thick folded than my single stroller AND it is shorter. It fits into my car much easier.
we're planning to get the ultralight version of this one. It's one of the few sit and stand types that fits a Chicco carseat, and I like that it has straps if DS is sitting down.
I've heard that too. But I guess I need to know why it's worth the extra $$s before I'll invest!

I really hated the basket in the BJCM double when I test drove some in April. I couldn't even get my purse in it yet alone a diaper bag. I think I heard that was going to be redesigned this year though.
I have a 2.5 year old son so I purchased a Graco double stroller that I wasn't 100% "in love" with but will do the job when I need it. I don't plan on needing one too often because DS only really sits in a stroller for bigger trips and at the mall.

I liked the 12 different riding options, but it's very bulky and heavy... For the price I figured I would give it a try considering how often we would use it.
I LOVE my cityMini double. It pushes so easily, folds down with no problem. I can get an infant seat attachment, and lots of other accessories. I love how the seats lay flat, and can be in any position in between, not pre-designated positions. The basket is a little small, but I fit a diaper bag in it just fine.
