Playing hooky is good for the soul..and what little sanity I have left

I took off from work two hours early today and boy did it feel good.  Came home and cooked a nice big dinner for hubby and I. Fed the buttmunch a few times, hung out on the rug playing with hubby and buttmunch and generally did squat diddly...  Lil man is now bathed and in his crib and hubby and I are just chillin .. feels good.

What more could you ask for.. a pork roast with yorkshire pudding and gravy and a happy lil man full of giggles and silliness... and we'll ignore the big gross wet tongue he shoved in my mouth when I went to kiss him ..he has been real good lately about closing his mouth for kisses so I totally didn't expect an open mouth slobbery tongue from him.  

I blame it on the inlaws dog who insists on cow licking the baby's head..last night he kept hiding his face in his blankie when the puppy came over to him..so the dog would lick his head and then they kept doing it for a few minutes.. it was like watching them play peekboo..it was so cute.

sure beats yesterday when I came >< this close to telling my boss I quit haha
