Pre-Seed on Clomid

I was just wondering if you ladies use Pre-Seed during Clomid+TI cycles. We have never used a lubricant before, but my feeling about it is, if it can help our chances, why not? What are your opinions?

I've only ever had an IUI with Clomid but if you're in the market for lube than I would reccomend Pre-Seed. We liked it. It's $$$ and I don't bother with the applicators and use it very sparingly. It doesn't "help" your chances though. It's just sperm friendly. If you don't need lube because you have plenty of natural lubrication save your money.

My (very limited) experience with Clomid is that it can be very drying. DH and I needed to use lube for the first time ever on my first cycle with Clomid. I guess it has to do with the hormonal shift. So if that is what you are experiencing you are not alone.

But yes, I agree with the above- only use it if you need it, it doesn't help your chances, it just also does't hurt your chances the way other lubes do.

We didn't need it while on Clomid. I didn't find myself all that dry. I think it varies person to person. Like pp said, it is only sperm friendly, so maybe save some $ if you don't think you will need it.
