Last night I made organic baby spinach with potatoes. He loved it but had a bad night. Possibly it was too gassy for him. Hard to tell because many nights suck!
I just gave DD spinach for the first time today in one of the squeeze packs- it was spinach, broccoli and pears. She loved it- hopefully it won't cause gas or a middle of the night poop.
I think I read about spinach on wholesome baby foods to be careful because of high nitrates. I cant remember exactly, I am going to reread it. Just fyi

This is what I was worried about, I read about being careful about nitrites in infants 6 months and younger.. And most of the info I have read says nothing about giving spinach at this age.. I have portioned and froze 1 teaspoon cubes so I might just let her try a taste of it.
From what I read about the nitrates was that they increase the longer the spinach is stored. If you're cooking your own and making in small batches that won't be stored it shouldn't be an issue.
I have some to DS, but I noticed that where it was on face his skin started turning red and his little behind was pretty red after a VERY green diaper change. I think for my little guy I'm going to wait a while before giving it to him again, but I'm glad we at least tried it.
