EC/iaper Free moms please come in...

So I have been lurking on this board for just a few weeks now and I am very interested in doing EC/Diaper free with my LO. He will be 3 months on July 25th. I would like to start right away with this. I however have no idea how to begin or really what to do. I have the book Diaper Free Before 3 and am looking into buying the book Diaper Free Baby or EC. Any help and or tips you could offer would be great. I have been reading the posts related to EC and am just hoping for some more info.

    I do the same thing, when we are home and I change her diaper or she is farting, I stick her on the pot and sing her some songs.  If she goes, we clap and say 'yay'.  If not, I just wait a bit and if she gets fussy I sign 'all done' and take her off the pot and diaper her up.  I'd say she goes on the toilet about half the time when I do this.  I am loving it with LOs new introduction to solids and the ever changing poo.

    We just started two days ago and it's amazing!  He totally gets it.  I put him on the potty after he wakes up and after he nurses.  Other times too, but those I always do.  I say "pee pee" and he goes!  I affirm with the same word and happy voices YAY that kind of stuff.  He has gone every time I put him on.  Crazy how amazingly simple it is.  I have gone through about half as many diapers.  I am hooked.  I don't know what it means for the future of him and wearing diapers, but I find it so fun and its obviously fun for him too.  He smiles from ear to ear when he goes.

    I'm just going to chime in that it's super easy and makes you feel so good when you 'catch' a pee or poop!  I use disposable diapers still, so you don't have to feel compelled to CD if that's not your thing.

      We offer him chances to potty on timing- after he wakes up in the morning or from a nap, when we change his diaper if we think he might still have to go.  We make a "sssss" noise for both pee and poop and I recently started signing potty.   We started by just holding him in the tub, but bought a potty for him last month and he sits on that with us holding him.
