I know this gets asked a million times, but I'm looking for a NB photographer. If you don't mind adding to your recc what the general costs were and what was included in the package I would appreciate it. I spent hours last night looking at the hits from a google search. TIA

The website says newborn packages start at $500. PM me your email and I think I might have the price sheet as of October 2011 (might have changed). The part I was looking for was that we did get a certain number of full res. images with print rights. I guess it's all about what is important to you.

Rassilon Photography. She is a friend of mine, yes, but she does excellent work for sure. She is still building her portfolio so she's currently offering a discount. It's normally 100-175 for a session with prints and CDs separately. She's probably cheaper than most and she's right in Odenton and will come to you.
She has a FB page as well and you can check out the ones she did for us. She's doing a lot of NB shoots lately. Let me know if you have any questions and if you book her, tell her I sent you
There are some good ones in Harford County- not sure if they travel, you'd have to check. Their prices I believe were 100-150 for a session and includes a cd. I haven't used either yet, but planning on it eventually :-)

I used Baby Face Photography in Frederick. It's an in home studio, and the fee is $300. You get a CD of unedited photos, but the photographer will edit the photos for $5 a pop. It worked out well for us because we really only needed 5 or 6 professionally edited and the others I plan to put in a little book for her. We also booked on really short notice, and that limited our other options.
We are really happy with her work. It's easy too because you just show up, you don't have to clean your house or have the nursery done. This was a problem for us because I waited to find out the sex and as a result had a boring beige room. The photos aren't as lovely as natural light photography, but you can't beat the convenience or the price.
I used Megan Rigdon in April for Caroline's newborn photos. It cost me $200 which included two or three hours of her time and a CD of the pictures (about 30 or so pictures). She's in Harford County, so you may want to contact her to see if she will travel to AA Co.
We plan to use her again in September for Annabelle's 3 year old pictures and Caroline's 6 month pictures.

Jill Myers did our newborn pics but the session was a gift from my mother so I am not sure how much it cost - maybe 300 or 500? We love her work and have worked with her several times over the years (she did our e-pics, wedding pics, TTD pics and a family photo shoot) so we are familiar with her and really liked having her do the newborn shoot. And I LOVED the pictures!!!

We used Brittany for our maternity and our newborn photos. People were commenting us all the time on both. I'm not sure of prices since it's changed for 2012, but tell her I sent you in case that helps : ) Most of ours from both shoots are posted in my photos on facebook if you want to look!
SarahRachael Photography is a good one as well. She's in my mom's group. I haven't used her myself as she tends to stick more to newborns and smaller babies but her pictures are great and so is her studio. She lives right up the street from me and is very nice

My family went with Courtney Anton Photography. Her prices were very reasonable and she made the whole process super easy for us. Really, really loved her.
