DD2's birth story

It's a girl! DD2 was born about two weeks ago. I forgot to post my birth story... here's a link:

It is long, sorry! Probably longer than the labor itself Smile But I have all sorts of details that I never want to forget! If you're looking for the Cliff Notes version: About two hours of active labor, I was in denial that I was even *in* active labor until I started pushing, my midwife barely made it in time, and my birth photographer and assisting midwife both missed the birth! I'm glad it was a planned homebirth, because I do not think I would've made it to the hospital in time.

    OMG!!!! I love your birth story! I think it is the best one I have read so far! Oh, and the pics are so cute. It gives me something to look forward too. You are such an amazing writer, and you and your family looks so happy together. Congrats!
