Who is getting a haircut before they give birth?

Okay- so every time when I am pregnant- I cut my hair short (hate it and cry afterwards)- don't know why? this time - I haven't. Yes But I remember after each of my kids A) haircuts are rare to get due to time and b) my hair falls out and it seems hard to maintain as it is long. (Baby pulls it and its always up anyways)

so.............

Who is getting their hair cut - or planning to get a new style/cut/color BEFORE LO arrives?

I'm really afraid to do anything drastic. I think having long hair I can pin back will be easier than a shorter cut I have to style all the time. I am definately long overdue for a trim (a few inches overdue at this point) but I just feel like there is so much else to do right now I cant find a good time to make the appointment.

I chopped off all of my hair six years ago and have been trying to grow it out to be as long as it was since. I haven't been able to reach that length...until now, and now I remember why I chopped it all off!!! I have naturally curly hair and straighten it every day, which with the length now takes about 45 minutes. I'm thinking of chopping it all off again because once LO gets here, I doubt I'll have 45 minutes just to work on my hair every day.

I just got it cut into a style that will continue to grow out nicely so that I don't have worry too much about it when baby gets here. I'm still a ways away from my due date and I may go back in for a trim, but at this point I'm happy with it longer so I can just pull it up when I don't want to deal with it.

My hair is crazy long and I would love to get it cut but on the other hand the cut I want is short with layers and some side bangs but I don't want my hair hanging in my face during labor. I know I could pull it back but my hair is one length now and so much easier to pull back because it all goes back... Decisions, decisions haha

this is me too - I dont want hair in my face while in labour. lol;

I'm getting my hair completely chopped but I'm waitin until after her newborn pics just in case I hate it. I'm terrified that I wont like my hair short and I won't feel beautiful anymore....I've had long hair for years now and I love all the stuff I can do with it. DH thinks I should cut it because "hair grows back." I'm going to get a inverted bob that is shoulder length so I Can still pull it up and still curl it when I'm going out.

What style are you thinking of cutting yours?

I'm getting a routine full head of highlights & a trim.. nothing drastic. My hair is a bit past my shoulders and although I love it shorter I'm not going to do that until I've lost the baby weight just in case I hate it. For some reason I feel skinnier with fuller, longer hair

I have a hair/pedi appointment Aug 6th ( EDD is the 18th). Probably just touching up highlights and trim since we are having newborn/ family pictures taken once LO arrives.

I just got back from getting my hair cut! Nothing drastic though, I don't think I look very good with short hair so I just got a few inches off and fixed my bangs (although they probably didn't even count as bangs anymore since it had been so long since I cut them). I figured I wouldn't have much time to get a haircut after baby so I better get one now.

I made me an appt for tomorrow, went online and found some pics of what I want. I was trying to grow it out but I can't do it, I want it out of my face. I was going to wait and make a decision after the babies were born because I want to color it eventually but I am done with everything at this point and my hair is the only thing I have control over at this point!

I keep my hair as short as possible. I last had it cut at about 26 weeks and it's not about 2 inches off my scalp, which is at least an inch longer than I like it to be. I'll definitely get it cut down again at some point since it's starting to be awkward now.

I made an appointment 3 days before my due date for a trim since I figured I will not have a chance for a haircut in awhile. I am not doing anything fancy since I still want to be able to pull it back in a ponytail.

Im definitely getting a haircut sometime in the next few weeks. I go back and forth on whether I should keep it shoulder length and just add some layers or chop it off to a bob again.

I chopped 8 inches off mine back mid-June It was just hanging there and I barely ever styled it. It is now a few inches past my shoulders with layers, it takes seconds to wash in the shower, and a few minutes to style or straighten, or even if I let it air dry and pin it back it still looks like I made effort to style it. I love it and wish I cut off a few more inches actually!!

I had long hair my whole life until 6 yrs ago which I feel I use as a security blanket sometimes, and now I chop it approx. every 2 yrs and donate it to cancer. I always love my hair when I finally do go short, so I don't regret it!

I have an appointment August 1st (due 16th) to get get a trim. I plan on keep my hair long so I can continue to just wear it in a ponytail.

I chopped mine off about a month ago... should have waited though because it needs to be cut again (I either need to have my hair in a bun or above my collar for work)
Looks like I'm going to go spoil myself next week getting my hair done again, oh darn

I have an appointment on Saturday, but I'm supposed to be on bedrest for the most part, so depending on how I feel, how my bp is, and how my doctor appointment goes on Thursday is whether or not I am going to keep the appointment.

I usually fluctuate between chin length & shoulder length. It is on the very long side for me right now & I've debated whether I'm getting tired of it this long, but I think I'm going to keep it for now. It's nice to be able to pull it back.

I have an appointment for a cut scheduled for Saturday. I think the last time I got it cut was the beginning of April? I probably won't get a drastic new style, just a trim to get rid of the gross ends.
