seperation anxiety?

So this strted a few weeks ago, I leave Harper with my mom to run an errand or something, she SCREAMS and cries "mama mama" for like 30 mins calms down and then I guess she realizes she dosen't see me again and screams again. Its so frustrating! I feel like I'm hurting her by being home all the time with her and then leaving her like once a week! Anyone else?

C has been doing this too. Last night was the WORST. He's just getting over an ear infection and he was up constantly last night and would scream until he could see me

I leave for 4 hours daily for work....she has started whining like a puppy when she saw me leave, sometimes crying. Now the sitter distracts her...the pedi said at this age it's okay to sneak out, but when she is older she needs to see me leave and will then realize that I always come back. I hope your LO gets better...it always hurts my heart.

Yes and it rips my heart out. I know she is going to be okay, but when I hear her scream like that it really breaks my heart. I sometimes can't go room to room without her screaming. I am finding that really hard, and I am just reassuring her that I will be right back. You're not hurting her, I look at it as part of building independence.
