During actual active labor...no. I was in labor for almost 48 hrs though (36 in the hospital), with an epi placed 3 times (twice before birth, once after) so I definitely snapped at the nurses when my epi wore off enough that they had to redo it around the 30hr mark. I screamed after delivery...when they'd removed my epi and then discovered that they couldn't stop the bleeding, so the Dr. tried manual extraction of the placenta. It was terrible. They managed to get an epi back in before rushing me to surgery when that failed though, why they couldn't do it before that I don't know.

Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I had a nice epi so I experienced no pain...but I screamed a lot when the doctor was pulling (vacuum-assisted delivery) because the pressure was unbearable. It felt like my insides were being ripped out (and I have the stitches to prove it).
With Bri I didnt, I had a perfectly working epidural I didnt even grunt. With Cam I said ow, ow, ow as he was coming out because my epidural had failed miserably & I felt everything. He came out sideways so it was especially painful. With William I cant remember saying anything, he came out really really fast all I can recall was pushing as hard as I could to get him out because again my epidural didnt work & I remembered the pain from Camden so I wanted it over with.

I had such a strong epidural that I couldn't feel the lower part of my boobs. I was kinda pissed: I wanted to feel the contractions but not the back pain. So no, no screaming.
I wish I would have screamed though (before the epi) I might have lasted longer, but with a 3rd degree (superficial) tear I am glad I had it for the pushing part.
Nope! I couldn't feel a thing. Thank you, epi! I heart you.
no screaming either!!
BUT- before I decided I wanted The epi- I had been in pitocin for a few hrs and when I hit 5 I couldn't take it anymore.. I actually started crying (tears down my face not sobbing) because the pain was unbearable. I think I labored without epi for 12 and 8 with.
I was in labor 15 hours on pit with DD before I got an epi (for the c-section)
I didn't scream. Actually the nurses put an internal monitor because they didn't believe my contractions were as strong as the external monitor was reading because I was so quiet and calm.
I'm very good with internal pain.
That being said I was one of the few people present for my friends labor and delivery. She screamed like the world was ending. In her defense she went from .5 cm to 10 in 30 minutes and they were telling her not to push because there wasn't a dr in the building. It was me, a nurse and her BF when the baby came flying out.

Yup. I didn't have any pain meds or epidural and the pressure was unreal, it was totally involuntary I think, I felt like I had to scream or I would've exploded lol. My dad heard me all the way out in the waiting room.

I did a lot of low moaning throughout. Once I found out I needed to go to the hospital and have a CS I was yelling, but not screaming. Apparently Hypnobirthing doesn't work when you're p*ssed.
The nurses didn't believe me when I told them it time to push. I had no epi, and they said I must be screaming if it were time. They checked me and said ok push! The bad thing was there was a lady in the next room who was pushing at the same time; and she screamed her head off. It really threw me off and I hated hearing it!
No screaming during delivery but you best believe when they sent me home after the first time I went in for delivery that I spent that whole night screaming and grunting lol. Only thing that made the pain tolerable.

When I was induced with Timmy, there was another woman already in labor screaming like she was being murdered when I walked into my room. I was thinking OMG what am I in for.
That being said I had pitocin with Tim and epi free birth with him and med free birth with Nick a well but I didnt scream.
I didnt say anything with Tim with Nick I swore under my breath and said ow and on the way to the hospital I wanted to punch Mike because he wanted to stop and get ice cream. The nurses were amazed I walked up to L&D from the parking lot and was al;ready 8cm

Does at my DH in the car count because he refused to set up the GPS and got us lost in the few blocks around the hospital while I was in back labor? In defense of the GPS- we had moved here a month earlier and only been to the hospital twice- different routes each time.
Otherwise, no screaming. I cried a little when it turned into back labor.
I *think* this was me too. I don't even remember if I screamed or not but I do remember bawling like a baby. My Mom was crying too and she never cries. I'll have to ask her if I screamed. I had a failed walking epi on pitocin and pushed for 3 hours so I would not be surprised if I had.

Nope. I was mostly silent/casually chatting until I started pushing, at which point I started repeating "*** *** this hurts" and "come out baby" under my breath. The hospital actually had a contest/game going on because there were 8 women pushing at the same time and I was the only one without any pain meds. I guess the other 7 were screaming and I was not lol.

Not during labor. I was induced and got my epidural at 5cm, so I was OK.
When I was pushing him out, the last push, I let out a yelp, because it burned and I had to stop pushing for a second.
