AW: Vintage Airplane Big Boy Room (PIP)

We are almost done DS1's "Big Boy Room"!! All that is left is some DIY "knick knacks" for his wall shelves.

We went with a vintage airplane theme, which he can really grow with (I'm not a fan of very theme-y/character rooms). He LOVES it so far!!

The only projects not shown are the children's book case which I painted to match the lamp that I also painted (burgundy). And a custom vintage telegram hanging from the wall on a wooden clip board- announcing DS' birth. I was going to post that pic, but it has our home address on the envelope and telegram itself, so I won't- for privacy, obviously!!!

Let me know if you want to know where I got any of the items... it's mostly a combination of Marshall's HomeGoods and local thrift/antique shops!

Very cool! I love that it's a theme, but definitely something he can grow with. Especially love his named spelled out by the plane on the wall and the DIY map art. Great job!!!

The sheets actually are just brown- from Marshall's Home Goods... but the bedding set (comforter) is from Wayfair

Our nursery has a vintage airplane theme with a lot of the same decor (i.e., PBK sheets and lamp). I designed it 4.5 years ago when DS1 was born and it served him well as he transitioned into a big boy bed, and now DS2 is enjoying it.
