LO still hates solids 1 month in

well, it's been a month and it's official: E hates solids.  i don't know what to do.  we're mostly feeding purees and mummums here and there.  DH does NOT want to do BLW.  help!

    I wouldn't be too concerned.  At this point, he's still getting everything he needs from breastmilk and/or formula.  When he's ready, he'll start eating solids.  We're also doing the mum mums and purees here and there.  Some days, (like today) DS isn't in the mood for solids, so we skip them all together and he just nurses a bit more.

    DS has been doing better with solids. We do a mix or purees, chunky, and foods easily gummed. What I discovered in the last few days is he will eat more if he's sitting in my lap. He doesn't like sitting in the bumbo or high chair and me feeding him. He likes in my lap. I'll go with it for a while. I mean I can't blame him. His food source comes from laying in my lap bf'ing. Maybe that's why?

    My DD is not interested in solids at all!  It was upsetting to me at first but then I decided to just let it go, she'll eventually be interested.  We tried pur?es, mum mums, puffs, blw.

    Blah, I thought you were in the same boat as I am...LO hates ALL solids, including purees.  He's still EBF and he won't take a bottle so it's killing me.  I need someone else to be able to feed him!

    This is exactly what I needed to read this evening! DD doesn't like solids either. We are doing a mix of purees and finger foods (BLW). The doctor didn't seem too thrilled when I told her this, and wants us to keep pushing it, but me and DH are much more lax about it. If she's still not eating by her 9month appointment, then we might have more of an issue.

    oh, i was unclear.  my daughter HATES purees!  she'll eat maybe half a mummum but she can't survive off of that.  it's driving me nuts!
