Just spent a nice romantic weekend with DH celebrating our anniversary and really did not want to get up to come to work today... especially since DH is on vacation until next Tuesday... BOO!
Today my older neices are with their father so I am stuck with dd, a 2year old (who her mother calls the devilish) and a very needy and whiny 5 year old. To top it off its 92? out so we can't even play outside.
I'm at work and not Happy at all... I feel extremely irked and dislike that I have to deal with unnecessary nonsense. grrr...
~Caleb~ If i could have a lifetime wish,
a dream that would come true,
I'd pray to God with all my heart,
for yesterday and you. D&E 8/24/2012 EDD 1/28/2013

This particular phase that DD is having with the "I will fall asleep when you hold me and as soon as you set me down in my crib, I will cry and stand up until you pick me up again," can stop NOW. It took me 1.5 hours to get her down for her first nap. Good grief!
I need to have a little vent about DH. I woke up at 1:45am with a little stomach bug (gross). I ended up pumping so I could go back to bed and have DH get up with her and take her to daycare. Maybe I take for granted that I just know exactly what I'm doing, but I guess I thought he'd been paying more attention. When she woke up at 4:45 to eat, he went in, turned her light on, and I could hear him talking to her while she ate. He came in and asked if she needed to go back to sleep or if she was up for the day. Ummm, it's 5:30am, she needs to go back to bed! Then he couldn't figure out why she wouldn't fall back to sleep. I went in there to find blankets strewn all over, we still swaddle but her arms weren't in right. Oh, DH! He tried so hard but obviously needs a little refresher!

This!!! She has a third eye or something. I have my hand on her in the crib, she's fine. I take my hand off and stand next to the crib, she's fine. I take a step away from the crib, she's fine. I turn around to leave, she wakes up SCREAMING - WTF?
Uggh!

Woke up to the room spinning last night (no booze involved). Everytime I laid on my right side it would start spinning again. Made MH stay home from work to watch LO. The spinning has stopped, but I still feel like S. Extra irritated bc we are flying to CA on Fri and I have a ton to do before then. And the IL's are bringing dinner tonight, but I feel like hiding in my room with a blanket over my head until they leave.
I am done with naps. DS will go down fine on his own at night, but I need to sit next to him and occasionally pat his back for naps. Plus, he normally only sleeps 30-45 minutes at a time, so he is tired again in 2 hours.
I'm going to go ahead and vent about DS' daycare. This morning when I dropped him off there were only two other babies in the classroom, both in the swing and one of the babies was crying and I mean crying, that painful 'someone pick me up and cuddle with me' cry. It broke my heart into a million pieces and I don't even know this kid. But the teacher was just flat out ignorning him, like she was annoyed and was just filling out paperwork. Then she went over and forcibly put a pacifier in his mouth. I just wanted to pick up DS and run out of there! She's not usually like this so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a rough Monday morning but I was pretty frazzled when I left. I wish I could stay at home with him.

I have so much stuff to do this week (and today). I'm so overwhelmed that I don't know where to start and so instead I am catching up on bumping since I was out of town for a few days. Ultimate procrastination!

I know it's early but going back to school in Aug will be pure chaos! Our principal resigned and we have half our staff gone. Ugh. I dislike a bad start! Oh and did I mention 24 kids in the class starting in kinder! Yep

LO's amount of awake & naps have been changing over the past couple days. He's only been having 2 decent naps & wanting another 30/45 min. nap between 5:30/6:30. This is putting bedtime at 8:30/9-ish.
It sucks, I want my predictable awake times & bedtime back without me having to implement a schedule.
I picked up my keys this morning since I have a new classroom, and as I was leaving, there was a brown recluse spider sitting right on the lock. I stared at it for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to kill it. Now I have to put a request in to spray my room again. Boo!
Re: MMBF!
We are parched, the last time it rained here was early May. We really need water, the crops are all pretty much dead.

Poor DD is so overtired from our vacation to MI. She's so fussy when she's awake. Hopefully, she catches up on her sleep soon!

The crops? Are you farming now? o.O
