So, I have a unique situation and am not sure what to do. Any advice is appreciated.
I just moved from Colorado to Oregon and am living with my son (DH to move in Sept) in my parents home until our home is ready to move into in mid-September. My parents bought a crib for their home (my mom will be babysitting when I return to work) but LO has been sleeping in his rock n' play for the past 5 weeks.
I tried transitioning him to the crib (with white noise and swaddled, he does not take a paci) about 5 days ago and he was up every 2 hours. In his RnP he was sleeping a 6hr stretch/feed/3hr stretch. I went back to the RnP after 2 nights and he went back to his 6/feed/2-3 routine.
When we move into our home, we will have a crib different than the one at my parents.
Do I transition him to the crib now and deal with the crazy sleep schedule again?
Do I wait to transition until we are in our home?
Did I already mess up the routine by putting him back in the RnP?
