Grinding Teeth

Is there any way to prevent/discourage a 7 month old from grinding her teeth?

It is grossing me out!!  Ha!

Is this something that I should make a pediatrician or dentist appointment for, or is it a phase that will pass soon?

    I don't have any advice but when I was a daycare provider I had this one baby in my class who would constantly grind her teeth in her sleep. I know it's bad but I would stick a paci in her mouth. Lol. I know it's not what you wanted to hear. I hope someone has a better suggestion because I know the noise can be irritating as hell.
