A friend told me and now I forget.
"male" sperm is slower but lasts longer and "female" sperm is faster and but die quicker?
So if I had sex before ovulation I have a better chance of having a boy, but if I had sex on ovulation day, I have a better chance of having a girl?
I know it is all chance and I would be happy with either sex, I'm just curious.

But... why does that make much difference (if at all) since sperm can survive for a while in fertile cervical fluid? Meaning, so what if the "female" (or male... I forget what was said) get there first? That doesn't mean that they'll be the one to fertilize the egg.
Interesting though.

I thought it was the other way around but I'm not sure. There's a whole book about it. Dr Brown or something I think.

Definitely!! You can watch The Great Sperm Race on youtube, I believe there are 6 - 10 min. episodes. It's amusing and give you lots of details on conception.
