DS had his 2 month check up today, first one he was 2 weeks. The dr mentioned his head was flat on right side. I can turn his head at night to see if it helps and I got a number for a specialist and maybe he needs a helmet.
Anyone else been told anything similiar?
Thanks, Kelly

Re: Two Month check up
Edited to add: Our Dr said we will re-evaluate the need for a helmet at the 4 mth visit.
We haven't been told yet to try to turn our LO's head but like your baby, mine really doesn't like tummy time. He won't tolerate for more than a few minutes. He spits up a lot too so there are only so many good times during the day to lay him on his tummy so he doesn't throw up on himself from the pressure on his stomach.
My LO also prefers to turn his head to the right when sleeping. I have tried to lay him down with his head the other way but he moves it shortly after.
This DD loves to be up looking over our shoulders and she pulls herself back to look at our faces. I found today that she will do tummy time longer on her play mat then a blanket. The blanket she pulls and it comes up by her face, because she is mad usually, and the play mat stays flat and away from her face. So maybe try different surfaces. With that DD has a less round side and her appt is on Wed so we are going to ask if it is bad then.
